C. Starck Johnson, M.D.

Dr. C. Starck Johnson is the team ophthalmologist for the Denver Broncos. He received his MD from Harvard Medical School where his research focused on gene therapy. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Michigan. He received his fellowship in cornea and LASIK surgery at Duke University, where he also did groundbreaking research on corneal elasticity.  He grew up in Denver, and since returning with his family, has been a leading innovator in LASIK surgery in the Rocky Mountain Region. Dr. Johnson and InSight Lasik use state-of-the-art LASIK technology. He introduced the Allegretto Wave Eye-Q 400 in 2008 and the Zeimer Femtosecond Laser in 2009 to Colorado.
