LASIK

(Laser-Assisted-In-Situ Keratomileusis) is currently the most common type of laser vision correction procedure used at InSight LASIK. It can be used to correct severe prescriptions, and is currently one of the most commonly performed healthcare procedures not only in Colorado, but also throughout the United States.

PRK (Photo Refractive Keratectomy)/LADARVision

At InSight Lasik in Colorado, our surgeons reserve PRK for laser vision correction patients who are not good candidates for LASIK. The eye surgeons at InSight Lasik offer the only Allegretto Wave Eye-Q 400Hz laser in Colorado.  The Allegretto Eye-Q excimer laser system features a wide range of FDA approvals and can treat nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism.

Conductive Keratoplasty (CK)

InSight Lasik offered the first Refractec Viewpoint Conductive Keratoplasty (CK) system in Colorado. For its work with the CK procedure, InSight Lasik in Colorado has been named a CK Center of Excellence-one of only three such centers in the United States. As a Center of Excellence, InSight instructs surgeons and their staff members on the implementation and optimization of CK in their practice.

WaveFront Optimized Technologies

For many InSight Lasik patients there are numerous causes for poor vision. Today, new WaveFront Optimized technology allows the InSight eye surgeons to examine the entire optical system and allow for the natural prolate shape of the cornea to be maintained.
